Hello friends.
We hope your summer is wonderful ~ can you believe this is the last week of July? My education friends are already preppy their classrooms to welcome back all the students, but I am NOT ready for summer to end!
But today is party day and we have big things to celebrate.
1. This link party hit the BIG 5-0 {50 weeks and going strong}.
2. Last week's party was the biggest so far. {A huge thanks to each of you for your support in helping this party be successful. It wouldn't be a party without you!}
Welcome to Making Monday.
This is a party where you can find fun new creative ideas and tasty recipes
shared by amazingly talented people.
Every Monday bloggers stop by to link up their posts and share with all you party goers.
By joining in {both bloggers and non-bloggers} you will discover new blogs,
be inspired to make something new, try a yummy new recipe,
and most importantly make new friends!
This party is hosted by Gracie and me, and your projects will be shared on both of our blogs.
We love that you're here and we love featuring you on our social media so be sure to follow us so you can see if your post gets shared!
We also pin to our Making Monday Pinterest board and we'd love to have you follow along!
This is a place you can find projects from all the previous parties, too, so it is like a party every day!
This is what your hostesses have been up to lately:
Gracie made a super cute Pottery Barn Knock-off Beachcomber Round Tray.
Click on over to see her tutorial.
Lori posted one of her favorite Mexican dishes. If you're familiar with Cafe Rio, Costa Vida, or Chipotle, you'll probably want to make this savory Shredded Mexican Chicken.
These are the fabulous features for this week, chosen by Lori:
#1. Personalized Game Pieces ~ Kid's Activities Blog.
When my kids were young they always wanted game pieces like this but we didn't ever make any.
They're so cute I'll for sure make some for my grandchildren.
#2. DIY: Painted Glasses ~ Blooming Homestead.
These glasses are so cheery and perfect for serving up lemonade on a warm summer day.
#3. How to Build a Wooden Planter Stand ~ Home Coming.
I love the fresh, modern, functional look of these planter stands.
#4. Sew Easy Ruffle Skirt ~ Almost Supermon.
I love seeing girls wearing cute, feminine skirts.
#5. Monster Pencil Cases ~ About a Mom.
What back-to-school grade school student wouldn't want a bright and fun pencil case?
#6. Blissfully Bohemian Bedroom Makeover ~ The DIY Homegirl.
This romantically peaceful Bohemian bedroom looks like a place I would love to relax in.
#7. Inside Out Hong Kong Coconut Buns ~ The Woks of Life.
I quite intrigued by these buns. They're beautiful and look delicious. I can hardly wait to make some.
#8. Homestyle Country Fried Steak ~ Domestic Mommyhood.
This is homestyle cooking at it's best. Yum. It looks delicious.
Thanks for hosting and have a great week!
