making Monday {14}

It's that time again! Time has been flying by as I'm getting ready for the Holidays. I'm sure most of you are running hectic getting prepared for Thanksgiving while simultaneously getting ready to speed decorate for Christmas! Luckily I don't have and Thanksgiving guests this year so I'm skipping decorating for that and going straight to Christmas :)
We hope this weeks party can help you kick start your busy Holiday season!

The party where you can find fun new creative ideas and tasty recipes shared by amazingly talented people. Every Monday bloggers stop by to link up their posts and share with all you party goers. By joining in {both bloggers and non-bloggers} you will discover new blogs, be inspired to make something new, try a yummy new recipe, and most importantly make new friends!
This party is hosted by Lori and myself, and your projects will be shared on both of our blogs. We love that you're here and we love featuring you on our social media so be sure to follow us so you can see if your post gets shared!

We also pin to our Making Monday pinterest board and we'd love to have you follow along! This is a place you can find projects from all the previous parties, too, so it is like a party every day!

These are the fantastic features from last week's party chosen by Lori:

MakingMondayFeature14Collage-1

#1. Kate at I Heart Eating is sharing her Browned Butter Pumpkin Spice Cake with Salted Buttercream Frosting. This cake has four layers each of the cake and frosting and is topped with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce and chopped pecans. It not only looks delicious, it's pretty, too.
#2. Hop on over to Krystal's Kitsch for these Free Place Setting Card Printables. Krystal shares some of her Thanksgiving Table Ideas, a recipe, and these gorgeous place setting cards.
MakingMondayFeature14Collage-2
#3. Helena from Helena Haakt made these oh-so-cute Paper Mache Moose Ornaments. This is such a cute idea and could be used for any shape ~ I'm making plans to use some of my cookie cutters for this project.
#4. This Cinnamon Swirl Zucchini Bundt Cake from Mommy on Demand looks as moist and delicious as she describes it. She says it's the best zucchini anything she has ever made. I'm definitely going to be making this cake.

#5. Here we have a Flaky and Fabulous Cream Cheese Pie Crust shared by Leilani from Keeping Up With Mrs. Smith. She gives us a good tutorial and ends her post with a summary that describes it as abuttery/flaky/good textured/beautiful pie crust. I thought I had a great pie crust recipe but I'm trying this one the next time I bake a pie {which will be next week}.
#6. I want my hubby to make me a {Dessert} Buffet Table like this one. Maureen from Red Cottage Chronicles found one that she like on pinterest and had her husband to build it for her. Then she used a staining technique that I've never heard of before. She makes the whole thing look easy. Her table looks fantastic.

#7. We've probably all had to deal with furniture dents so here is a remedy. Noreen at Crafty Journal shows us How to Remove Furniture Dents from Carpet. It's so simple and we will never have to live with them again.
#8. Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who's the Fairest of Us All? Carrie at A Mother's Shadow has written a beautiful and sometimes humorous post addressing the habits that may be hindering us and keeping us from reaching our full potential. As I read it I learned a thing or two about myself and what I can change to become the best possible me.
We thank each of you fabulous ladies for linking up and sharing with us. Hopefully they will inspire all of us to get moving in time for Thanksgiving!
Be sure to grab a button and share with the world that you where featured!
